California!... Wait, Again?!

I know what you're thinking... didn't they just go to California? In fact, didn't I just see that same exact picture of that same exact beach only a few blogs ago?... And you're right. You did, you are not going crazy... we are. Crazy about San Clemente, that is. We went to San Clemente, CA over winter break a few months ago and loved it so much that we decided to go back for a nice, relaxing weekend over spring break. It's such a nice little beach town... low-key, peaceful, lots of fun shops and restaurants, and not to mention absolutely beautiful. Are we moving there some day you ask?... Perhaps if we win the lottery.

Derek and Amy Get Sealed!

On Saturday, March 13th (their one year wedding anniversary) my big brother and best friend of 22 years, Derek, was sealed in the Temple to his beautiful wife and my sister-in-law, Amy.
They looked so elated when they came out of the Temple that their happiness nearly brought me to tears.
As Jessbuns, Ramsey, and I waited outside for them to come out, I couldn't help but think how incredibly excited I am to be going to the Temple in just five weeks and being sealed to my eternal companion. What a truly wonderful plan Heavenly Father has prepared for us.
I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family, for Chase and his family, and to have the Gospel in my life.

La Montaña del Sur

Chase and I went on a nice, long hike on Saturday to his favorite spot on South Mountain. For those of you who are familiar with the South Mountain hike, it's passed the house on the mountain, a little higher and to the left. It was such a beautiful day... overcast with a few rays of sunshine. The picture on the bottom is of the amazing Elephant Tusk Tree that Chase is fascinated by because of how rare they are and because of how its sap is said to be a sort of panacea. The picture above that was our view of the Foothills... we could point out our house! A beautiful day, a wonderful hike, and my favorite person in the world as my guide... I couldn't have asked for a better Saturday :)
